The Odd Couple by Neil Simon

When carefree, spectacularly messy sportswriter Oscar/Olive Madison takes in his recently separated, obsessively tidy best friend Felix/Florence Ungar, the stage is set for a legendary comedic clash. Within days, Felix’s relentless cleaning and neurotic quirks push the easygoing Oscar to the absolute brink of insanity. As their wildly opposing lifestyles violently collide, the two friends must figure out how to survive sharing a roof without completely destroying each other. Neil Simon’s classic masterpiece is a hilarious, side-splitting exploration of the boundaries of friendship and the little quirks that drive us crazy. Grab your tickets now to experience the rapid-fire banter and unforgettable laughs of this beloved comedy live on stage!
Please be advised that this production contains comedic references to suicide, discussions of marital separation, and casual smoking and drinking. Suggested for ages 13 and above.

“Gorgeous! Oh my goodness, wow! Staging, choreography, all the tech, and those voices- really well done. “
“Saturday night’s performance of Hadestown was jaw-dropping! I’ve very rarely seen a high school cast completely captivate an audience like they did on Saturday. The performances were so strong. The blocking and choreography were so moving. A theater experience I won’t soon forget.”
“The show is beautiful in every way, and so relevant to this generation, and the difficult road that lies ahead. Bravo! The production is a true piece of art.”
“This show is Art. This show moved me. I didn’t want it. I wanted to go home. And in the end, it hit me in the gut. It made me feel.”
“You have really outdone yourself with this one! The ensemble is one of the most incredible ones I have seen. Everyone is giving 110%.”
“Amazing show. The kiddos rocked it. My sister is still talking about it ‘I can’t believe these are high school students, they are so professional.’ You all are the best and bring out the best in our talented students. Go Drama!”

Collaboration with Disney Theatricals for Peter and the Starcatcher and Marvel One Acts
Shadow Mountain High School and the North Valley Art’s Academy Theatre Program worked with Disney Theatricals in New York as one of the few high schools across the nation to pilot Disney’s Peter and the Starcatcher and two Marvel one-acts before the amateur rights were released.
We provided Disney Theatricals with feedback on the challenges and opportunities these particular scripts provided for high school theatres.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER and the NVAA Theater Program was featured in Raising Arizona Kids Magazine – read the great press here.
