Producing theatre is not cheap. All donations to the NVAA Drama Department go right into our shows for producing rights, set construction costs, costumes, props, marketing, and equipment purchase and upkeep.
If you’d like to donate to our program and you live in Arizona, you can use your ARIZONA TAX CREDITS to give up to $200 (filing taxes individually) or $400 (married filing jointly). This money will come out of your owed Arizona state taxes and go directly to our program. Arizona residents only.
Two options for Tax Credit Donations
- Complete and mail in this form with a check
- If you have a student registered in the Paradise Valley Unified School district, you can pay through the SMHS bookstore. Here are the steps:

Go to the PVUSD website (https://www.pvschools.net/).

Hover on COMMUNITY icon (top right) and click on “Support Our Schools”.

Tax Credit Donations is first item on the page and click on “Tax Credit Donations (parents)” box

This will take you to the PVUSD Online Payment Portal where you can login at the bottom of the page or sign-up as 1st time user.

After login, click on SMHS student and click on “Items at Student’s School”.

Click on “Tax Credit Direct Donation – Performing Arts”.

You can then donate to “Thespians/Drama” at your desired amount.

Alternatively, you can donate directly to our SMARTS Parent Organization with a credit card.
